Before you integrate social media to your SEO campaign

Published on August 29, 2010 by Last Click News   ·   No Comments

Social media is a key ingredient to search engine optimization (SEO). These sites allow you to find and target specific demographics.

Here are some things to remember before you integrate your SEO campaign to a social media profile:
•    Set your goals. Before you create a social media profile, find out what you want from that profile first. Some of the known goals include revenue generation, image building, and mailing list expansion.
•    Connect casually. Social media sites allow you to reach your target demographic at more casual level. More than just selling things to them, it gives brands the chance to act as their friend.
•    Performance measurements. Invest in performance measurements to monitor the success of the campaign. This will allow you to track the necessary data and make adjustments if necessary.
