Bing will now deliver search queries from Yahoo’s search portal as the deal between the two companies has just been completed; however it is still awaiting regulatory approval in the United States (US) and the European Union (EU).

The 10-year deal will entitle Yahoo to a majority of the profits earned from search marketers on the Yahoo website. Yahoo said that the company will create a sustainable and compelling alternative in search will provide its customers with better choices.

While the industry groups are strongly in favor of the partnership, the US Department of Justice still has several anti-trust concerns.

Search engine optimization (SEO) experts have been following the merger closely. Analysts say that the partnership will create a stronger competitor against Google, the undisputed search engine giant.
