Microsoft has decided to postpone he market campaign planned for Bing in the UK until 2010.
While the new search engine has managed to make a strong debut in the American market, it is having a hard time cracking the UK market.
Microsoft has already shelled out more than $100 million for its advertising service in the US. However, Paul Med—the managing director of SEO company—says that not much has been done for Bing users in the UK.
“The user experience from the UK perspective is not living up to expectations, so they go back to Google,” explained Mead.
The company is currently doubling the efforts to make the search engine more relevant for UK users. It has already launched UK-specific features to strengthen its appeal in the country.
