Black hat SEO campaigns launched on Korean incident

Hours after the world was informed the artillery fire exchange between North and South Korea, black hat search engine optimization (SEO) took advantage of the incident’s search-related terms.

According reports, related queries to the incident are infected with Malware disguised as video codecs and browser updates.

Here are some of the affected keywords: north korea bombs south korea, north korea attacks south korea, kim jong il, and korean news

In addition to the Korean incident, black hat SEO campaigns have also been launched for terms related to Black Friday, Miley Cyrus, and Dancing with the Stars.
