Black hat SEO operations are on the rise for Halloween

Hackers are exploiting search terms that are related to Halloween.
Many Halloween-related search terms are now being dominated by malware-laced sites.
Experts say that these terms are now being used to conduct black hat search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns.
There are also “trick or treat” campaigns that con browsers into thinking that their computers are infected with a Trojan virus.
Browsers should be more careful about interacting with sites derived from Halloween-related search queries.
