Companies that are setting up search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns should carefully consider their keywords of choice.
According to industry observer Richard Hartigan, pay per click services will play a crucial role in the SEO process.
“Impression and click volume data from pay per click (PPC) accounts will help to construct an analytics portfolio behind each potential keyword choice,” Hartigan wrote in a blog post for Econsultancy.
Hartigan says that the PPC information will complement data taken from online keyword tools, while analytics will give companies ideas of which keywords are the effective and competitive.
