Click-to-call can now be integrated with Pay-Per-Click

Advertisers now have the option to include click-to-call phone numbers in their mobile device advertisements with full internet browsers.

AdWords, Google’s pay-per-click marketing campaign, previously offered clickable numbers to advertisers that connected consumers to the nearest stores.

Reports say that the new feature, which allow businesses to include contact numbers whenever their ad is triggered—regardless of the user’s reaction.

“This enables customers to connect with your business by phone directly from the ad and can be especially useful if you have a call centre to handle customer enquiries,” explained Katrina Kurnit in the Inside AdWords blog.

In order to set-up click-to-call, marketers need to add their business number to their mobile display ads.
