Google’s new features will affect SEO campaigns

Published on December 2, 2009 by Last Click News   ·   No Comments

Sources confirm that Google results pages will evolve once again, which will affect search query rankings.

Eric Enge, from Search Engine Watch, says that several new factors will be used to determine Google search results. Search engine optimization (SEO) specialists can now use a page’s minimum load to increase its rankings on Google.

In addition to that, the Google News interface will also have some changes. The most relevant of which is its change of focus to sites that get more clicks. Google News will also use non-link references and social media results to determine the top ranking news items.

However, SEO experts say that the impact of these changes are still unclear, but they say that these changes will definitely be relevant for SEO campaigns.
