Google goes flat, Microsoft search engines gain ground

Published on April 13, 2011 by David Castillo   ·   No Comments

Based on the latest figures comScore, Google’s search share is flat. Microsoft’s Bing, on the other hand, is making big gains in the market—and that is something that search engine optimization campaign managers need to take into account.

According to comScore, Google share grew by 0.2 percent in May, while Bing and Yahoo combined to cover nearly 30 percent of the market.

Similar data has also been recorded by other measurement firms, including Hitwise.
