Google is still the top search engine

The Bing and Microsoft merger is building more and more steam. But, experts say, that Google is still the top search engine and is the top priority of search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns.

Google is still holds a large part of the search engine market share and is still the top priority of SEO campaigns and pay-per-click (PPC) services. That’s why experts recommend concentrating all SEO activities in topping Google.

In terms of PPC marketing, Google AdWords is still the best platform. This includes content targeting, mobile ads, image ads, and video ads.

According to Efficient Frontier statistics, Google accounted for more than 70 percent of the total spending on internet marketing services during the fourth quarter 2009.
