Google launches new CTR feature with advanced Pay Per Click

Published on November 10, 2009 by Last Click News   ·   No Comments

Google has recently announced that it is testing a new enhancement to its pay-per-click sponsored links section, which allows browsers to view images of the products listed by clicking on a tab-sponsored link.

With regards to click through rate (CTR), Google hopes that the enhancement will improve it through paid service. Theoretically, this will attract new customers and improve conversion rates.

The new system works with up to four products per ad, which means that advertisers will be able to put four images in one sponsored advertisement. This will give companies the opportunities to promote their products and related items to a specific target audience.

Each of the four images will have different landing pages, allowing advertisers to market separate but related items in a single ad. Its main advantage is that it has the capability to show similar products and peripherals that a customer may be interested in.

The Beta technology of the new enhancement is currently under testing. It is exclusively available for customers who have a high-quality threshold.
