Google Panda updates bring focus to other site areas

Published on April 27, 2011 by David Castillo   ·   No Comments

The Google Panda update has created a storm in the search engine optimization industry. Online companies now have to focus on new areas to rank in the world’s most used search engine. One of these areas is URLs.

According to experts, sites need to identify valuable URLs to ensure that they’re properly optimized and indexed.

Low-value links inside a site’s framework must be removed and replaced by high-value URLs. Essentially, the Panda updates encourage the best production out of sites. While this requires more work for retailers and other sites, it benefits browsers by ensuring more relevant top-ranking search results.
