Google reigns and Bing shows signs of growth

ComScore—the online researcher—have produced their latest statistics on the online search world.

The statistics indicated that there has been a minor rise in the amount of people using Google and Bing for online queries. Yahoo also had a decrease in the number of searches, but still manages to hold a fifth of the overall share.

According to the Computer Business Review, Google still holds a majority of the market with 64.9 percent and Bing has shown significant growth with 9.4 percent of the market.

All signs indicate that Bing will continue to solidify its place in the market and Yahoo will continue to struggle to find its niche browsers. However, Yahoo is still the second most used engine out there with 19 percent of the market.

For the advertising market, Google still reigns. In fact, the company recently set a new record with an 81.2 percent market share.
