Google to remain censored in China

Google’s website optimization strategy in China has hit a major hurdle as the government objected the search engine’s efforts to avoid censorship controls.

Because of the conflict of interest, the Chinese government is expected to revoke Google’s operating license in the country.

Google has avoiding censorship in China by redirecting Chinese browsers to a Hong Kong-based landing page, where there are far less restrictions.

Sources from Google say that the redirects are no longer acceptable to the regulators, And Google, will more or likely, become censored in China.

Google has said that it will try its best to hold on to its Chinese license. The company has also said that it will stop redirecting Chinese Google browsers to their website in Hong Kong.
