Google tops latest comScore rankings

Based on the most recent comScore rankings, Google is still the most dominant search engine in the world.
Google sites emerged on top of the US search market for the month of 2010 December.
Studies like this will influence search engine optimization campaigns to focus more on Google, because it’s the preferred search engine of consumers.
Far behind Google are Yahoo! and Microsoft.
Based on the figures, there were over 16 billion cores searches during the holiday month and almost 11 billion of those queries were conducted through Google.
