Google’s foray into social

Published on June 29, 2011 by David Castillo   ·   No Comments

The Google+ project will integrate search with social media, bringing in a new dimension to search engine optimization and online social marketing.

The project is currently under its trial period, and only selected users have access. Reports claim that the main facet of Google+ will be content sharing. It will also let users start web chats, where they can specify hangouts where they can know each other better.

Google+ will promote user-generated content. Users will be able to upload photos and videos for their friends to see.

For a long time now, Google has been trying to penetrate the social marketing scene. Until the release of Google+, it remains to be seen.
