Growing SEO job market | With so many competitors in cyberspace, more and more companies are adapting search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to gain an edge in a growing market. SEO help raise traffic and sources show that companies are now looking for quality content that will be coupled with SEO techniques.
The July Online Work Index from job website Elance indicates that more and more SEO job postings are being produced. To add to that, content creation landed in the company’s top spots of more than 100,000 freelance jobs.
It appears that companies are now recognizing the value of content. Web content and article writing fell at the number six and seven spots of the site’s job index. Both these jobs are—in some way—related to SEO.
The figures imply that SEO would be a great place for a writer, thus he/she should study its basic precepts to gain an edge in the job market.
In fact, some of the companies even use SEO to get better exposure on their job postings.
