Integrating social media with SEO

Published on October 14, 2011 by David Castillo   ·   No Comments

Social media is a big part of search engine optimization campaigns. In order to succeed in the latter, it should be supported by the former.

Online businesses can use a variety of social media sites, like Twitter and Facebook. Subscribing in these sites guarantees increased brand accessibility, and it also gives businesses a chance to interact with consumers at a more casual level.

The social media interactions create brand loyalty. They allow for consumer feedback and brand response. Of course, the social media profiles are also a great way to announce promos and events for the brand.

These media campaigns should be accompanied by content marketing efforts. Posting headlines and updates through social media guarantee clicks and conversions. The content should contain the keywords of the site to yield improvements in rankings.

Integrating social media with SEO will continue as the internet industry continues to evolve. It is up to SEO managers to innovate new tactics to gain better rankings in search engines.
