Leapfish make its search engine debut

Published on November 16, 2009 by Last Click News   ·   No Comments

Leapfish, a start-up tech company, is making its debut in the search engine market and could affect search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns. The company is pitching itself as the entry portal into “the living web”.

Leapfish’s flagship product is a customizable homepage, which is similar to iGoogle. Users will be able to create their own start-up pages with simple graphics tools that can arrange widgets for Twitter, Facebook, and other social networking sites.

The new portal has drawn interest from all corners of the world, including SEO specialists. The company will add a new variable, and it could steal thunder from new features of Google and Bing.

The two internet giants have signed separate deals with Twitter to index the popular site’s content.

As of now, there are no confirmed effects of the site for SEO campaigns. But, Leapfish says that it will have implications.
