Marketers go for social networking SEO

More and more marketers are creating social networking accounts. And, experts predict that more money will be invested in social networks come 2010.

Social networks are now a huge part of search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns. If you’re looking to promote your brand, you can do so in Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter.

Traditional SEO does not include social networking. However, creating a Twitter account is a great way to call some attention to a brand—hence, it works hand in hand with SEO.

Fan pages are becoming more and more popular, and it’s expected to grow further in 2010.  Experts say that company budgets are allotting more and more money to maintain these sites and measure their strength in sales.

If you want to promote a brand, create a social networking account—this offers customers a more casual to get to know the brand. This will be the emerging trend for SEO in 2010.
