Meta keywords are no longer necessary for SEO

Online retailers no longer need to use meta keywords to boost their search engine rankings.

Experts say that Google no longer prioritizes meta keyword tags in determining rankings. It focuses on keywords in general.

The meta keywords maybe the most irrelevant part of an SEO campaign. In fact, Google said last year that meta keywords no longer have any bearing on how it determines search results.
