Microsoft and Google sign deal with Twitter

Published on October 23, 2009 by Last Click News   ·   No Comments

Twitter, the famous social networking site, has made arrangements with Microsoft and Google to integrate its subscribers’ Tweets into search results. This will create a new search engine optimization (SEO) environment.

The two search engines will have access to Twitter’s extensive storage of public data in real time, which will enable them to track trends with a higher degree of accuracy. Due to the partnership between Microsoft and Yahoo, Yahoo will also gain access to this real-time data.

Microsoft has also signed a similar deal that will give Yahoo access to user updates on Facebook. This will give SEO professionals an additional tool to improve search rankings.
