Microsoft debuts new mobile SEO app

Published on December 17, 2009 by Last Click News   ·   No Comments

Microsoft is extending the real of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) with the introduction of Bing’s app for the iPhone.

Experts say that the focus of the new app is to provide localized search results and map data. The app also contains several features that could attract new iPhone users. The new app will be competing with Google’s default browser, Safari.

Currently, several iPhone apps are powered by Google (i.e. Google Maps and YouTube). Microsoft’s app will require iPhone browsers to surf directly into the site in order to use it.

With two search engine apps in the iPhone already, experts forecast a growing role for mobile SEO in the future of the industry.
