Optimizing your Tweets for Google

Published on November 4, 2009 by Last Click News   ·   1 Comment

In case you did not know, Google is integrating “Tweets” to its search engine. The company has adjusted the algorithms for standard queries, including videos, pdfs, blog posts, and other content.

The first thing you need to know about this is that its principles are similar to search engine optimization (SEO). This means that the top ranking “Tweets” are determined by keyword relevance and links.

In order to build up your Tweet, you need to place links in your status. You can do this by getting tags, having more followers, and getting your Tweets retweeted by other subscribers.

This process is easier said than done. The best way to strengthen your Tweets is by posting relevant and compelling content. If you get this, then the rest will easily follow.
