The recession makes it difficult for business owners to attract new customers.
That’s why companies are looking for new ways to attract the customer. And the emerging platform is cyberspace, specifically search engines like Google and its competitors.
Nowadays, consumers no longer want fast information, they want faster information. They no longer want easy access, they want mobility. Enter: Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising.
This platform offers all these needs and that is why Valley businesses from Phoenix are using it to target new customers.
Local marketing consultant Jason Jantzen of Red Spot Marketing explains what makes PPC advertising unique:
“When pay per click is used as part of an integrated marketing strategy, there’s really no other form of advertising that puts products or services in front of potential customers at exactly the moment that they’re searching for a you—it truly takes the guesswork out of advertising.”
A well-crafted Google AdWords campaign can easily place a business listing on top of the Google search engine results page. Whenever a customer clicks on an ad, the browser will take him/her to the home page of the business.
Pay per click advertising allows business owners to selectively target customers while offering accountability for their ad dollars,” said Jantzen. “Since a business only gets charged when a customer clicks on its ad, the business can control exactly how much they’re spending and can properly calculate their return on investment.”
However, directing traffic to a website is only one part of the process. It’s in converting a browser into a customer that is most important.
“Having a properly structured campaign that directs traffic to the correct landing page is key to turning a surfer into a customer,” said Jantzen. “And in today’s economy, businesses just can’t afford to miss out on a customer conversion.”
