The best way to attract more Web traffic is higher search engine rankings. That’s why the value of search engine optimization (SEO) continues to increase in the internet marketing platform.
However, there have been recent posts in the internet that suggest that excessive spending on SEO is not as effective as it may seem.
SEO is believed to be a daily, tedious task for campaign runners. Sites need to be constantly updated to cope up with search engine algorithms. Content needs to be refreshed, and Meta descriptions and title tags need to be optimized. These tasks cost a lot of time and monet, especially since SEO specialists are required to perform the task.
In a post titled “SEOn Trial”, Oz said that “There is absolutely no reason to spend hundreds of dollars in the quest for high rankings in the search engines.”
Oz argues that there is a way to spend less money, while attracting more traffic to a site. This leads to higher Return of Investment (ROI) and maintains the same amount of traffic at a much lower cost.
The article suggests even regular internet browsers can optimize a site. As long as the site owner follows basic SEO principles that are easy to learn and apply.
