Local search is becoming increasingly important in the search engine optimization universe.

For the consumer, this means better shopping convenience. For the online retailer, on the other hand, it means a lot of work.

SEO campaigns need to adapt to this trend in order to compete in the market. Local search puts more emphasis on link building, as the accuracy of the links will play a vital role in the success of a SEO campaign.

In fact—according to experts—Google believes that the company name in online address listing is one of the most important elements of a retail website.
