Six things to remember about SEO

Published on August 10, 2010 by Last Click News   ·   No Comments

Search engine optimization (SEO) is not just a matter of keyword placement. It is actually an amalgamation of techniques and methods that blend marketing with internet marketing. Its primary purpose is to conquer the search engines and attract a consistent stream of clients and customers.

Here are some things to take note of if you’re embarking on a SEO campaign:

•    Presence – index your site properly to make sure that search engines see your site
•    Pay attention to detail – forgetting or remembering additional details can make or break your site. Value technique and be precise
•    Relevance – unless you plan on spamming, make sure that your content is relevant. Don’t flood your pages with keywords!
•    Be a friend – find ways to reach your target market in a more casual environment, like Facebook, Twitter, and other social networking sites. Also, be a site that can be trusted to deliver helpful information.
•    Create attraction – allow consumers to spread your content and develop fresh, innovative content daily
