Skype introduces pay-per-call on the internet

Published on July 22, 2010 by Last Click News   ·   No Comments

Skype, the internet telephone service provider, has launched a pay-per-call advertising product, Click & Call. The new product will turn phone numbers into ads that are similar to pay-per-click search ads.

Whenever highlighted phone numbers are clicked on, the Skype software is triggered and the caller/clicker is automatically connected to the company. Similar to paid search ads on search engines, Skype will receive payments from the advertiser based on the volume of calls they receive through the ad.
