Many small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) are planning to increase their spending for web advertising in the future.

Based on the results of a survey from B2 Group, more than 40 percent of SMEs are planning to increase their spending on online marketing and 13 percent say that there will be additional adjustments on pay per click advertising.

“It’s a very positive statement that SMEs are looking to increase spend on going out and winning new business,” says Andrew Colwell, marketing director at B2 Group.

Around one in four firms said that they will be putting more money in e-mail campaigns.
