The emergence of Bing as an SEO option

Published on June 21, 2010 by Last Click News   ·   No Comments

Yes, Google is still the top search engine. However, due to consistently increasing usage, many experts say that Bing can be a major player in the search engine optimization (SEO) playing field.

Bing is a fresh start. Unlike other search engines, it has several new opportunities that big engine like Google and Yahoo don’t have. Bing has a great opportunity to create and develop a search engine that learns from the mistakes of past search engines.

One of its fresh features is its document preview, which allows browsers to scroll down on some of the information they would get from a certain site. The feature is similar to what Ask.com has.

Of course, there are still challenges that lie ahead for the young search engine. But the numbers look good.

Experts forecast steady growth for Bing. While it will not topple Google as the number one search engine anytime soon, webmasters may want to increase their interest in optimizing for Bing for future prospects.
