The Pepsi Refresh Project needs SEO support

Published on February 12, 2010 by Last Click News   ·   1 Comment

The Pepsi Refresh Project is a great example of social media marketing. However, experts claim that the project’s search engine optimization (SEO) campaign leaves much to be desired.

“While there’s no doubt the attention the Pepsi Refresh Project is gaining has proven to be a success, there’s evidence it’s website could benefit from simple but effective SEO refinements,” stated EO Internet Market Research and Public Relations in a press release.

With regard to viral marketing, the project has been a success. But its basic SEO foundation needs improvement. In the project’s website, meta titles and meta descriptions can use more optimization to avoid possible click through encounters. In the competitive world of internet marketing, this would be a tremendous advantage.
