Additionally, McCoy believes page naming is integral to SEO success, advising: “When building a great page name, consider keyword research or the top keyword for the page.”
However he added on Search Engine Watch: “If rewriting URLs, it may be worth rewriting them to remove the script extension in case you move to a different programming platform down the road. This will help alleviate any future headaches.”
