Using anchor text for SEO campaigns

Published on July 28, 2011 by David Castillo   ·   No Comments

Anchor texts play an integral role in a search engine optimization campaign.

These texts are indispensable, especially when it comes to targeting competitive keywords. But it’s not simple. You should observe several details when it comes to creating anchor texts.

Anchor text is simply the words that make up a link.

For instance: if you use “click here” as a link, it won’t be useful unless it has an anchor. After all, “click here” is one of the most competitive search terms online, making it difficult to rank. What you can do is to place an anchor text underneath the term, making it a more relevant SEO tool for you.
