Why integrating video with SEO is a good idea

Published on September 29, 2011 by David Castillo   ·   No Comments

Video content is a great way to engage Americans between the ages 13 and 31, according to a report from Knowledge Networks.

Typically, search engine optimization campaigns are supported by content. However, using different video platforms can be really effective in reaching new audiences.

Knowledge Network found that 10% of respondents consistently watch videos on their mobile devices; and more than 30% do so on their desktops and laptops.

As mobile is becoming a bigger participant of internet usage, video content must also be designed to accommodate it.

In the last years, video viewership has increased at an unprecedented rate. This is something SEO managers should take advantage of.
