Yahoo! search begins transformation to Bing-powered search

Published on September 9, 2010 by Last Click News   ·   No Comments

Yahoo! has begun its transition to Bing’s organic search technology last month.

Because of this, the search engine’s organic searches will change. It is part of the Microsoft-Yahoo! alliance’s agreement.

Yahoo! has dutifully reminded its users that the change will improve the generated search results, which is good news for the browsers but not for the dedicated SEO campaigns.

The integration is scheduled to complete by the end of the year. However, Yahoo! has said that it may take longer than the announced time frame.
